Madgicx alternatives: which tool replaces which part of Madgicx

Madgicx bundles Meta ad automation, AI recommendations, creative tools and cross-channel reports. Most alternatives replace one of those jobs, so start from the one you use.

TL;DR

  • The right Madgicx alternative depends on which part of Madgicx you use: for automated rules that pause ads or change budgets, Birch (formerly Revealbot) or the rules built into Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads; for one read-only view of Meta, Google and Snapchat plus approved social publishing, overads.
  • Madgicx prices by monthly ad spend: $45 a month below $1,000 of spend up to $329 a month at $20,000 to $30,000, on monthly billing, as of October 6, 2026.
  • Birch also prices by ad spend and runs rules on Meta, Google, Snapchat and TikTok; its rules are on the Pro plan.
  • overads does not change ads. It reads the accounts, suggests changes, and a person applies them in the ad platform.
  • If automated changes on Meta are why you use Madgicx, stay with Madgicx or move to another rules tool, not to overads.

What Madgicx does, and what it costs

Madgicx is a Meta ad optimization tool: its own optimization page describes it as AI campaign optimization for Meta ads, with automated rules and AI bidding. According to the Madgicx Academy, its automations can pause or start a campaign, ad set or ad and raise or lower a budget when metrics are met. Its custom automation guide describes those actions inside Facebook Ads Manager. The AI Marketer audits the account and recommends what to do.

Madgicx reporting reaches further than Meta. Its One-Click Report page says it pulls data from Meta, Google Ads, GA4, TikTok and Shopify. The Academy’s plan guide lists One-Click Report as part of the plan and also points to a One-Click Report add-on, so check which reports your plan includes.

Madgicx alternatives compared

The Madgicx alternatives below split into tools that change your ads for you and tools that only read them. That split matters more than any feature list: a rules tool needs write access to the ad account, and a reporting tool does not.

Birch (formerly Revealbot): rules across four ad platforms

Birch is the closest like-for-like Madgicx alternative for automated rules. The company renamed Revealbot to Birch and says it is the same team and platform. Its homepage describes rules with nested conditions, custom metrics and more than 20 actions, checked as often as every 15 minutes, and its features page lists Meta, Google, Snapchat and TikTok ads, plus cross-platform reports sent manually or on a schedule.

Birch’s pricing page bases the price on monthly ad spend across all connected accounts. On October 6, 2026 the Essential plan started at $49 a month for up to $10,000 of spend and the Pro plan at $99 a month for the same spend, both on monthly billing, with a 14-day free trial. Automated rules are listed under Pro, not Essential, and Birch’s help center says Essential is available up to $150,000 of monthly spend. Our Birch alternatives guide covers Birch in more detail.

The rules already inside Meta and Google

Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads both include automated rules, so a team that uses Madgicx mostly for rules can test the native ones before buying another tool. Meta’s help centre says its automated rules check campaigns, ad sets and ads, then update them or notify you, with examples such as pausing a low-performing ad or raising a budget on return on ad spend. Google’s help page says its rules can change ad status, budgets and bids, and send emails when conditions occur.

The trade is reach: each platform’s rules work only inside that platform, so a team running Meta and Google keeps two sets of rules and two places to check them.

overads: read-only ad reporting with approved publishing

overads is a different kind of Madgicx alternative: it replaces the seeing and reporting, not the automated changes. The overads ads dashboard connects Meta Ads and Google Ads with campaign, ad set and ad detail, and Snapchat Ads at account level (spend, impressions and clicks). Connected accounts sync every three hours. Gloofy, the overads assistant, suggests changes, and a person makes them in the ad platform.

overads cannot pause an ad or change a budget. Meta declined overads’ request for the ads_management permission at App Review on July 28, 2026, so overads reads Meta through ads_read only, and it reads Google and Snapchat without writing to them either. Our post on ads_management vs ads_read explains what that permission split means for any ad tool.

overads also publishes organic posts. overads Publish posts to X, LinkedIn (profiles and Company Pages), Bluesky, Mastodon and Pinterest, with an optional approval step before a scheduled post goes out, and workflows run on a schedule and leave their posts waiting for approval by default. overads plans are not priced by ad spend; the current plans are on the pricing page.

When to stay with Madgicx instead

Madgicx is the better fit than overads in these cases:

  • You need rules that pause ads or move budgets on Meta without a person present, for example overnight. overads cannot do this.
  • You launch Meta ads in bulk or generate and upload ad creative from the same tool. overads does not create or launch ads.
  • All of your spend is on Meta and you want Meta-specific depth such as AI bidding and the Tracking Pro add-on from one vendor.

If the automation is what you value but you want Google, Snapchat or TikTok covered too, Birch is the closer swap. If you want to keep the automation and add organic publishing or a read-only view across platforms, running Madgicx and overads side by side works, because overads never writes to the ad account.

How to choose a Madgicx alternative

  1. List what you actually used Madgicx for last month: rules, AI recommendations, ad launching, creative generation or reports.
  2. If rules are on the list, keep a tool with write access: Madgicx, Birch, or the native rules in Meta and Google.
  3. If reports and visibility are the main job, compare read-only tools, which need fewer permissions; our guide to cross-platform ad reporting tools covers that category.
  4. Price your real ad spend on each spend-based pricing page, including the band you will reach as budgets grow.

Frequently asked questions

Does Madgicx publish its prices?

Yes, for monthly ad spend up to $30,000. On October 6, 2026 its pricing page showed six spend bands from $45 to $329 a month on monthly billing, and asked spenders above $30,000 to see the price inside the app.

What happens if my ad spend grows past my Madgicx band?

On monthly billing, Madgicx's Academy says that once you reach 105% of your ad spend package, the system moves you to the next package automatically. On quarterly and annual billing it says you move up for that month only and pay the difference in the monthly price.

Can I keep Madgicx and add overads?

Yes. overads only reads the ad accounts, so it never changes a campaign, ad set or ad that a Madgicx rule acts on.
