CPA guard

When a campaign's CPA runs past your line for three days, propose pausing it and tell the team why.

  • When CPA crosses your line for 3 days
  • Meta Ads

What it does

Step by step, in the order it runs.
  1. 01When a metric crosses a line
  2. 02Propose pausing the campaign
  3. 03Send a notification

How it works in overads

Use this template and it is copied into your workspace as a workflow you own: every step is editable on the canvas, it can be renamed, pinned or archived (archiving pauses it), and it stays switched off until you turn it on. Test run walks the reads and conditions and reports what would be staged without staging it, and Run now works while the workflow is still switched off.

Every 15 minutes it checks the Meta ad metrics that have synced, works the metric out over the whole window, and fires at most once per campaign per day when that figure is past your line.

The pause it proposes waits in the approvals queue. Approving it records the decision; the pause is not applied on Meta until Meta approves ad management for overads. Notifications go by email, and to any Slack, Discord or Microsoft Teams channel verified under Settings > Notifications.

Every Tuesday, take the next question prospects ask your sales team from a list you keep, write a LinkedIn post that answers it the way your best salesperson would on a call, and leave it for approval. When the list runs out it tells you instead of repeating itself.
